Peace of Mind

The EMMAs (Ethnic Multicultural Media Awards) was founded in 1997 by Bobby A. Syed, who was the sole force behind this ITV & BBC Televised Showcase. He established the first ever global Creative Industries Show, this helped to define the Creative Industries, prior to the UK Government White Paper on the Creative Industries in 1998.

The EMMAs promoted Multicultural values within Society and throughout the Creative Industries, which is based on Social Cohesion that leads to Social Inclusion against any Ghettoisation within certain communities, as displayed by EMMA in recognition for being the Catalyst behind the United Kingdom hosting the London 2012 Multicultural Olympic Games. The EMMAs ultimately recognised Creative Excellence throughout the Creative Industries, regardless of one’s race, nationality, colour or religion, which enhanced EMMA’s Multicultural values in its truer sense within the Creative Industries. EMMA’s philosophy was at the forefront to ensure that mainstream media changed its traditional policies to become more inclusive.

The Multicultural influence on the creative industry—which includes sectors such as film, television, music, publishing, and advertising—has been significant and continues to grow, globally. This influence not only enriches creative output but also shapes economic success, social integration, and global appeal as encouraged by EMMA. The UK’s creative Industries contributed £125 billion to the economy in 2022 (DCMS, 2023).

Peace Supporters

Time4Peace is an apolitical and areligious initiative to highlight our many peace supporters. The relevant listed Corporations, Public Figures, Actors, Music Artists, Celebrities, and Sports Personalities have been invited to make their peace statement, which we will then publicise unedited from the source (contact details will be blurred out), highlighting/supporting their desire alongside our own to support this critical global issue; in whatever way they define this. This is also an opportunity for individuals and organisations to make a Humanity Pledge, alongside building common ground, with any parties for the future. We will follow the UN voting format to reflect those relevant responses, whether it’s deemed direct, or indirect by evading the issues, otherwise darkened for no response. It is in the public interest to know where we all stand on this global issue. (We have contacted all parties listed in each category as listed for a response, hence, their response colour coded in turn.)
